Alicia August-Wright, Owner/Event Director of A’Vents by August has planned and serviced hundreds of events including weddings, receptions, gallery openings, bridal and baby showers and corporate parties. Alicia is knowledgeable in all areas of event planning including etiquette, decorating, and budgeting.

A’Vents by August is the brain child of Alicia.  Alicia began her career in the special event industry over ten years ago by creating custom invitations and gifts for family, friends and past employers.   After much contemplation, research and education she, decided to go at it full force.  Expanding her talents into complete event and party planning.  Her inspiration leads to trendsetting styles and creativity. Her penchant toward fashion and design allow Alicia to come up with events that are whimsical, innovative, polished, and stylish.   Each event is tailored to fit the lifestyle of the client, no matter how BIG or small.
